Here’s a complete list of mods being used in my Skyrim streams, including my fundraiser for Gendered Intelligence.
I’m playing on the Skyrim Special Edition which includes all the DLC (Dawnguard, Dragonborn, Hearthfire) and using SKSESE (Skyrim Special Edition Script Extender). This is a dependency for many mods. I’m using Mod Organiser 2 to manage the installation of mods and load order.
- SKSESE Library – prerequisite library for some mods
- Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch – comprehensive bug fixing patch
- Skyrim Special Edition Engine Fixes (SKSESE version) – fixes a variety of issues with the game’s engine
- Quality World Map – improves the default map
- Achievements Mod Enabler – usually when you mod this game, achievements get disabled. This reenables them.
- Alternate Start – Live Another Life – gives you a variety of options for starting the game so you don’t have to see the cart ride to Helgen again
- Ars Metallica – enhances smithing, including letting you smelt down unwanted armour into ingots
- Better Dialogue Controls – improves how dialogue is controlled with keyboard/mouse
- Cloaks of Skyrim – adds cloaks. swoosh.
- Enhanced Lighting & FX – makes the lighting prettier
- Immersive Armours – increases the variety of armour in the game in a lore-friendly way
- Immersive Weapons – increases the variety of weapons in the game in a lore-friendly way
- Immersive Sounds – huge overhaul and extension of in-game sounds
- Immersive Citizens – overhauls and improves NPC AI
- Open Cities Skyrim – adds the main cities to the world map to get rid of the loading screens
- Realistic Water – makes the water look pretty
- Run For Your Lives – makes unarmed, unarmoured citizens hide from dragons/vampires/whatever so they don’t constantly get themselves killed
- Skyrim Flora Overhaul – makes trees and plants pretty
- SkyUI – makes the UI usable
- The Paarthurnax Dilemma – provides an alternative resolution to The Blades demanding you murder Paarthurnax
- Total Character Makeover – a collection of improvements to character models
- Legacy of the Dragonborn – adds a massive museum for you to indulge in all your loot hoarding tendencies
- Open Cities Legacy of the Dragonborn Patch – makes Open Cities and Legacy of the Dragonborn play nicely
- Relic Hunter – a patch for Legacy of the Dragonborn and Alternate Start which lets you start out on the museum/Explorer’s Guild questline
- Cheesemod – adds over 200 unique cheeses and a quest to find them all!
- Manor Roads – adds roads between the Hearthfire player homes and other roads
- Dawnguard Map Markers – adds some more markers to the map related to Dawnguard, e.g. in the Soul Cairn
- Cutting Room Floor – re-adds some cut content
- Bring Out Your Dead – adds some burial sites for some named NPCs, should something calamitous befall them
- Gildergreen Regrown – makes the Gildergreen regrow if you complete that questline
- Falkreath – expands Falkreath
- Darkwater Crossing – expands Darkwater Crossing
